Our first set of four Ride Astride cars featured a provision to display advertising. The rights to each car was sold locally and the income generated was sufficient to build the cars. With out the support of our sponsors we would not have been able to build and continue to develop the Cottonwood Railway. |
| We use only Ride Astride cars for our public passengers based on our belief that they are inherently safer due to a low center of gravity and the fact that they force the public to sit facing front. We also restrict our public trains to four Ride Astride cars and a maximum of twenty-one passengers. With out air brakes on our cars we rely on the engine brake for speed control and stopping. |
