Membership Information
Mission Statement
The purpose of our museum is to preserve and interpret the history of
the railway, the industries and the culture that grew around it through:
- Preserving, restoring, and interpreting artifacts of historical significance
related to the railways and industrial development in central British
Columbia.
-Providing educational, hands-on experience to the public through static
and operating displays.
-Displaying the lifestyles of the people involved in the railways and
industrial development in central British Columbia.
We are dedicated to making our museum a place of activity, educations,
and enjoyment.
Membership:
- 1 year membership.
- Family membership includes 2 adults and up to 3 children.
(additional persons can be added for a donation of
$10.00 each)
- Associate and Student members are non-voting.
- Family, Corporate, and Non-Profit memberships are eligible for one
vote.
- Corporate and Non-Profit Membership entitles up to six people per
day to free admission and one 50% off Nechako business car rental
per year.
Membership Benefits:
- Free admission to the Museum during regular operating hours
- E-mails of historical bulletins on Artifacts from our collection
- Invitations to the Railway & Forestry Museum member appreciation,
special events, and general membership meetings.
- Receive free the quarterly publication Of Northern Exposure,

up to date on cultural activities around
town
